Marshall Chambers has served as Head of School at ELCA since 1998. He received a BA degree from West Georgia College and a graduate degree in Christian School Administration from Pensacola Christian College. He was previously High School Principal of Athens Christian School in Athens, Georgia and has served in administration and teaching positions at two other Christian private schools. Mr. Chambers is a life group teacher and active member at Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church, teaching ninth grade boys. Mr. Chambers and his wife Jane have two grown children, Kelley and Marsh, and have five grandchildren.

Chuck Gilliam has been at ELCA since 1999. He came to ELCA to serve as a 5th grade teacher and has since served as the Middle and High School principal. Originally from Athens, Georgia, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from Clearwater Christian College and a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Piedmont College. Prior to coming to ELCA, he taught for three years at Philadelphia Christian School in Conyers. He has been married to Julie since 1996 and they are the proud parents of Abby, Megan, Charlie, Claire, Aaron, Gabriel and David.

Richard Allen came to ELCA in 2003, moving into the position of High School principal in 2007. Prior to coming to ELCA, Mr. Allen served for sixteen years at Athens Christian School in Athens, Georgia. He graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He and his wife Kathy were married for thirty-six years, prior to her home going in May of 2007. They have one son, Jonathan, who graduated from Berry College and is married to Sarah.

Eric Johnson came to ELCA in 2005 to teach as well as be the Head Wrestling coach. Little did he know that the Lord would call him to serve as principal in just his second year at ELCA. Coach Johnson was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Cedarville University in Ohio in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. He received his Masters of Education in Administration from Troy State University in 2003 and his Specialist degree in 2006 from Lincoln Memorial University in Educational Administration and Supervision. Coach Johnson and his wife, Gwen, were married in December of 1991, and have two children, Trent and Victoria, both students at ELCA.

Edd Tucker came to ELCA in 1997 to serve as Elementary Principal. Originally from Pensacola, FL, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Tennessee Temple University. He started his teaching career in 1969 at North Florida Christian School in Tallahassee, Florida. He taught in the classroom before moving into administration and becoming Elementary Co-Principal in 1975. He received an Administrators Permanent Professional Certificate from the Florida Association of Christian Schools in 1987. In 1993, he became the Elementary Principal at Sherwood Christian Academy in Albany, GA. Married to Marlene Tucker since 1966, they are the proud parents of Darren and Dana. They are the proud grandparents of six grandchildren.

Susan Moore- Director of Admissions
Susan Moore has been at ELCA since 2002, originally in the cafeteria before moving to Admissions in 2005 and is currently serving as the Director of Admissions. She is married to Tony Moore, and they have two children, Seth, who graduated from ELCA in 2012, and Ragan, who attends ELCA. Mrs. Moore’s family are actively involved at Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church.

Cindy Baker - Director of Business and Finance
Cindy Baker came to ELCA in 2000 to serve as the Director of Finance. Originally from Powder Springs, she earned a degree in Accounting and Finance from Kennesaw State University in 1989. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. Married to Archie Baker, Mrs. Baker has three sons, Will, Luke, and Jake. Luke attends the University of Georgia and Jake is a student at ELCA.

Theresa Tankersley came to ELCA in 2005. She served as an Athletic Director and and also as the Calendar Administrator before working in the Communications and Marketing Department. Mrs. Tankersley received her B.B.A degree in Management from Georgia State University. Before coming to ELCA, she worked in accounting. Theresa married her high school sweetheart, Greg Tankersley, and they have three sons, Mike, Kyle and Matt. Mike is at Georgia Southwestern University, Kyle graduated from ELCA in 2012, and Matt is a current student.

Vickie Floyd has served as the Director of Development for ELCA since 2004. Prior to that she worked as the Foundation Coordinator for the Henry Medical Center Foundation for six years. Other professional experience includes over fifteen years in the fields of Human Resources and Benefit/Compensation Management. She grew up in Morrow, GA and attended Clayton State University. She and her husband, Danny, have been married for over twenty years and have one daughter, Bethany, who is a graduate of ELCA, Class of 2009, and currently attends Georgia College and State University.

Vicky Rodgers- Director of Early Learning Academy
Vicky Rodgers has been at ELCA since 2000. Originally from Glenwood, Iowa, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Music and a Reading Endorsement from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. Mrs. Rodgers married David Rodgers in 1987 and they are the proud parents of Collin and Shelby Rodgers. Collin graduated from ELCA in 2009 and is now at Young Harris College and Shelby is a senior at ELCA.

Dr. Cowan has been at ELCA since 2001. She taught elementary for four years before becoming the Director of Student Support Services. Prior to coming to ELCA, she taught for fifteen years in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Cowan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University, Masters of Education in Special Education from Nova Southeastern University, Specialist degree from Walden University and Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University. She married Randy in April of 1981 and they are proud parents of four daughters, Chakyra, Candace, Nakeisha and Quiana. They are also the proud grandparents of three grandchildren.
