How to register for a USA Wrestling membership card:
Go to www.themat.com
Click on “Membership” and look for & select “Join” or “Renew Online”
You must create an account if you have never had a USA card before. If you have had a USA card, the card# is the ID# to log in.
Once logged on, click “Add New Member” or “Renew Membership” depending on your son’s status.
Under Athlete, click on your son’s name if the membership account is under his name or else “Another Athlete”
If you are renewing, then find your son’s name and click on his USA Wrestling ID
Complete the member info profile and click continue
Complete the Additional Athlete Data. Make sure the club name, “ELCA Youth Wrestling Club”, is listed.
You will need to print the confirmation page, and also print out the USA Wrestling Membership card. Then cut and laminate.
USA Wrestling membership is necessary as we are a sanctioned USA Wrestling Club, and your membership ensures that our insurance policy through USA Wrestling is valid. The membership is also necessary if your son would like to enter any tournaments as well as compete in scrimmages with our youth programs.
