ELCA Connect (Online Academy)ELCA Online Academy is a division of Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy, a traditional Christian school that has been serving McDonough, Georgia and the surrounding area since 1970. Both schools are ministries of Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church. The Online Academy, which began in 2009, is a program designed, in part, for homeschool families and offers online courses from kindergarten through twelfth grade. The Online Academy also offers opportunities for on-campus ELCA students to take courses that are not offered in the traditional environment as well as summer courses and credit recovery.

Homeschool Students
The online academy is intended for parents who want their child to experience the benefits of being a part of a traditional school and all that it entails. Students may participate in sports, cheerleading, performance band, marching band, clubs, and field trips. Online learning is a great way for homeschool families to provide their children with a progressive, fascinating, and engaging education with video, audio, and interactive online games, puzzles, and other activities. Courses through the Online Academy may be taken wherever the internet can be accessed. Location is no longer an issue for receiving a quality education.
Traditional ELCA Students
ELCA students that take full-time courses on campus may also take advantage of the Online Academy. The academy offers AP courses and a wide variety of enrichment courses not offered in the traditional classroom. Before a student signs up for an online course through the Online Academy, it must be approved through the academic dean’s office. Summer courses for credit and credit recovery courses are offered through the summer online program.
